2020 PROJECT: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND HW AND SW UPGRADE ON TWO MACHINES.

This project involved a substantial upgrade to the coating machines in order to optimize data exchange with the rest of the production cycle, and, equally importantly, to achieve compliance with the main safety standards and new specific regulations. The upgrade was needed to improve control over and traceability of all data and increase the safety of operators.
Aims: Equipment upgrade to enable the machines to interface with the company management system, achieving two-way logistical control over data in line with Industry 4.0.
Results: The investment increased product quality and traceability, while also allowing more complex processes for superior coating consistency, meaning increasingly competitive and innovative solutions could be offered to the market.
